The 19th

I made it one complete month blogging and only missed three days. That's an accomplishment for me and I'm celebrating by drinking a Fresca and watching the end of the saddest movie ever - Cast Away. Pretty sure I wouldn't survive if I was stranded alone on an island, and definitely don't think I could handle coming home and seeing that the rest of the world moved on. The Knickerbockers like to do depressing things on Sunday nights like mope around in our pjs, root for losing football teams, and watch sad movies. It's all in preparation for another week of work - and I'm not even the one who has to get up and go!

Whenever he says, "The sun WILL rise," I start tearing up. It also REALLY bothers me that he has another volleyball in the jeep with him when he is on his way to deliver that package. Am I the only one who thinks he was planning to make another Wilson???

very sad. i recently watched the movie Flyboys which was pretty good. it ended pretty happily with the main character sending the girl off to england to escape the german army in WW1 and then he shot down the bad guy. but then before the credits it told you what happened to all the characters in real life. about how they went back to america or went into this or that profession. then it explained that the main character never found the girl in england. what a lame way to make a movie sad. it was probably based off of a true story but needed some romance. i assume that they couldnt change the fact the the guy moved back to texas and married someone else so they just imagined that he never found the "love of his life"

Its a great movie!! Its one of a few movies I actually paid to watch twice.

I get sad when he was in the hotel room laying on the floor flipping the light on and off while looking at the picture of Kelly.

First of all, Daniel, if you ever wonder what it will be like when you return to the US, everything is just the way you left it. And secondly, Katie, here's to a new month of blogging!

Caramel apples! Yum!

Heidi and I watched a movie last night about an immigrant mother with two young children, and Heidi said "Here comes the happy ending" just as the screen faded to black.

Oh and Daniel, I got a haircut (for your list).

Daniel, how did you know all of this? And BTW, Jason's haircut is probably the biggest change.
