Ok, so I ordered 20 - $5 off Similac coupons from an online coupon clipper. I'm not really a "couponer" but formula cost is currently sucking up a good portion of our budget. So I'm planning on using at least some of them in combination with Similac checks that I already have, and a store promotion to take $5 off of a $25 qualifing baby purchase. Theoretically I would save $15 per $25 transaction. I've been stressed and nervous ever since I had the idea, imagining having a confrontation about coupons at the check-out stand with a long line of shoppers behind me, all glaring at me with their hands on their hips. That's why I'm not a couponer. I'll let you know how it goes.

I heard that you can make copies of the Spring Creek Barbeque BOGO free meal coupons that we get each month in the mail. So this week was a fundraiser for Ethan's school at Spring Creek Barbeque. There were faculty from the school volunteering around the restaurant, one of them waiting for me to check out so she could carry our trays for us. But when I handed the checkout girl two BOGO coupons (as we were buying four meals), she said they don't take xerox copies. The faculty volunteer just waited there for me to argue for a second, then dig for my original coupon, pay, and round up three antsy kids.
So we wound up with three meals for the price of four, no more barbeque until next month, and possibly a reputation around school as cheapskates. All's well that ends well, I guess. Good luck!
